Trailer Safety Chains & Cables
Available15 products
Trailer safety chains connect to the rear of the towing vehicle and the front of the trailer as safety equipment. These chains are added to insure towing safety if the trailer becomes detached from the tow vehicle or if the primary coupling fails. Safety cables connect the safety breakaway switch on the actuator to the towing vehicle. These cables get pulled in case of an accidental disconnect, activating the brakes on the actuator and bringing the trailer to an eventual stop.
