Mounted Studs
Available44 products
Mounted studs bond to the surface of a workpiece to provide a permanent, stationary male thread. Also known as mountable threaded studs, they are typically used in repair applications where access to one side of the mounting surface is limited or where there isn't a through-hole, such as in machinery, equipment, and motors.
Right-Angle Projection Mounted Studs
These L-shaped studs can be used in narrow spaces or on the edges or corners of workpieces. The studs are secured by welding the rectangular, non-threaded side of the stud to the workpiece. This leaves a threaded stud available for fastener placement.

Bottom Projection Mounted Studs
Bottom projection mounted studs are stronger than top projection welds and are often used in automotive and construction applications. The projections under the flange weld to the work surface to create a secure connection. Access to both sides of the surface is required for installation.

Top Projection Mounted Studs
Top projection weld studs sit flat on a surface and produce a smooth, finished appearance. The studs are secured by welding the projections on the top of the flange. They provide better control than welding the entire head in heavy-duty applications.

Adhesive Mounted Studs
Adhesive mounted studs bond to a work surface to create a male thread and are easier to remove than welded stud options. They are typically used in lighter-duty applications than projection-mounted studs and where welding is restricted.
