Hex Nuts
Standard Hex Nuts
Standard hex nuts screw onto male-threaded parts in non-locking applications. They are the most common type of nut and are used in the general assembly of components.

Heavy Hex Nuts
Heavy hex nuts are wider, taller, and thicker than regular hex nuts to provide additional strength and increased lifespan. Their increased size provides larger bearing surfaces for tools and thread engagement.
Machine Screw Hex Nuts
Machine screw hex nuts fasten onto machine threaded fasteners in low-to-medium load applications. They are generally used for male fasteners that are less than 3/4 inch in diameter with uniform threads throughout their length.
Panel Hex Nuts
Panel hex nuts are thinner and much shorter than regular hex nuts. They mate with male-threaded components that insert through flat surfaces and secure them into place.
Jam Hex Nuts
Jam nuts tighten against the main fastening nut to prevent unwanted rotation. They are generally half the height of regular hex nuts and sometimes thinner for the same inner diameter.
Acme Hex Nuts
Acme hex nuts are designed to mate with acme-styled threads to provide a strong, durable fastening solution. The acme thread design is larger and tougher than conventional threads, making it ideal for high-load applications.
Left Hand Threaded Standard Hex Nuts
Left-hand threaded hex nuts tighten and loosen in the opposite direction of regular hex nuts. They are most commonly used in applications where right-hand threaded fasteners would loosen themselves.
