Adhesive Anchors

Available54 products
Adhesive anchors, also called adhesive anchoring systems or chemical anchors, attach to the mounting surface using adhesives. During installation, pilot hole size and alignment are not as critical as the adhesive can flow to fill irregular holes. They cannot be used before fully curing and are sensitive to dust and debris in the pilot hole.

Acrylic Anchor Adhesives

Acrylic Anchor Adhesives
Acrylic anchor adhesives bond threaded rods, anchors, and rebar to cured concrete and masonry surfaces. They are easier to dispense than epoxy, work in wet or water-filled openings, and set quickly in most temperatures.

Epoxy Anchor Adhesives

Epoxy Anchor Adhesives
Epoxy anchor adhesives bond threaded rods, anchors, and rebar to cured concrete and masonry surfaces. They are generally stronger than acrylic adhesives, have a longer shelf life, and do not shrink when curing. This makes them ideal for high-load applications like structural anchoring.

Vinylester Anchor Adhesives

Vinylester Anchor Adhesives
Vinylester anchor adhesives bond threaded rods, anchors, and rebar to cured concrete and masonry surfaces. They consist of a polyester resin mixed with an epoxy resin, giving them greater strength than standard polyester resins. They are highly resistant to most chemicals and are better able to cope with vibrations than other adhesives because they are slightly elastic when cured.

Pre-Measured Adhesive Capsules

Pre-Measured Adhesive Capsules
Pre-measured adhesive capsules drop into pilot holes in a mounting surface and bond the anchor to the mounting hole. They consist of two components inside a pod that breaks when hit with the male anchor. The spinning and pounding actions of the hammer drill used to mount the anchor mix the two compounds and start the curing process. This allows for the installation of many anchors in quick succession.
