Lighting Contactors
Available96 products
Lighting contactors are electrically operated switches that turn circuits on and off to control high-powered lights and signs in commercial and industrial environments like warehouses, stadiums, and office buildings. Contactors for lighting are electromagnetic switches that open and close electrical circuits to turn multiple high-current connections on and off simultaneously.
Electrically Held Lighting Contactors
Electrically held contactors have one coil that requires consistent input power to keep its circuit open or closed. When power is disconnected from the coil, the contactor returns to its normal state.

Mechanically Held Lighting Contactors
Mechanically held lighting contactors have latching and unlatching coils that require momentary electrical signals to open and close their circuits. When power is applied to either the latching or unlatching coil, the contactor will switch between energized or de-energized and stay in that state until it receives another control signal. Also known as mechanically latching contactors, they use less energy than electrically held contactors and operate quieter because they don't require a constant input to the voltage.

Enclosed Electrically Held Lighting Contactors
These electrically held lighting contactors have enclosures that protect their internal components from impacts, debris, and dust. Electrically held contactors for lighting have one coil that requires consistent input power to keep its circuit open or closed. When power is disconnected from the coil, the contactor returns to its normal state.
