Definite Purpose Contactors
Definite purpose contactors are electrically operated switches with specific operating performance specifications. Also known as DP contactors, they can be cost-effective alternatives to IEC and NEMA contactors in applications with lower life-cycle requirements. Definite purpose magnetic contactors control electric loads for motors, machinery, and equipment in industries like HVACR. Contactors are electromagnetic switches that open and close electrical circuits to turn multiple high-current connections on and off simultaneously.
Contactors combine with compatible overload relays to create motor starter assemblies. Compatible auxiliaries can be added to increase the functionality of contactors.

Enclosed Non-Reversing Definite Purpose Contactors
These non-reversing definite purpose contactors have enclosures that protect their internal components from impacts, debris, and dust. They connect and disconnect power to motors, machinery, and other high-current equipment in a single direction.
