Robotics
Robotics equipment includes standalone devices and other units that integrate into existing systems to automate repetitive jobs such as sorting, assembling, and picking and placing items on conveyors. Robotic arms mimic the movements of a human arm and provide rotational and linear movement to complete delicate tasks with speed and precision. Multiaxis gantries offer linear movement in two or more directions along the X, Y, and Z axes. Delta robots have three or more lightweight arms connected to a motorized base that move simultaneously to automate work. Robot control components integrate with master control systems or software and transmit signals to robotic equipment and devices to perform assigned duties. Robot bases, mounts, and accessories include items used for automation training and educational purposes to help students practice real-life scenarios such as picking and placing items with robotic devices.
