Hazardous-location pilot lights are for environments where the possibility of flammable gases, vapors, or liquids, ignitable fibers or particles, or combustible dust may exist under normal and abnormal conditions. They have location ratings that classify their suitable operating environment and must be paired with similarly-rated hazardous-location devices to be compliant with safety standards. Industrial pilot lights illuminate to signal that a machine’s process has started, stopped, or is experiencing issues.
Single-Piece LED Pilot Lights
These hazardous-location single-piece pilot lights have LED lighting that reaches full brightness instantly and produces very little heat. LED indicator lights typically last longer and use less energy than other lighting technologies. These pilot LED lights have one-piece bodies without seams and provide more environmental protection than modular pilot lights. However, they come as is and cannot be altered with lenses or new lighting elements.
