Protection Method

Fusible have fuses that blow if the connection experiences an electrical overload or short. They shut off power immediately if there is an electrical malfunction to protect high-current industrial equipment.
Non-Fusible transfer power continuously without interruption. They don't have fuses to protect against electrical overloads or shorts.

UL Fuse Class

J have a high amperage interrupting rating (AIC) for protecting against short circuits and are ideal for IEC motor starter applications. They are current-limiting to prevent electrical damage by disconnecting circuits before they're exposed to the full magnitude and duration of an overcurrent.

Enclosure Material

Non-Metallic is lightweight and resists corrosion. Unlike metal enclosures, it is nonconductive and dosen't require grounding.
