Automotive Cartridge Fuses
Available24 products
Automotive cartridge fuses are rectangular fuses for protecting vehicle wiring harnesses against overcurrent. They're generally used in higher-voltage applications than automotive blade fuses. They have a plastic housing that's color-coded by amperage rating to help prevent installation of a mismatched fuse.
Time-Delay Automotive Cartridge Fuses
Time-delay automotive cartridge fuses are female standard fuses that provide a low voltage drop for protecting high-current circuits. Also called JCASE fuses, these slow-blow cartridge fuses tolerate temporary inrush currents without opening, which prevents nuisance-blowing from motor and equipment startups. They open to disconnect an electrical circuit when exposed to sustained loads and short circuits.

Fast-Acting Automotive Cartridge Fuses
Fast-acting automotive cartridge fuses withstand high temperatures to protect high-current circuits such as alternators and starters. They open within seconds of being exposed to overloads and short circuits. Also called fast-blow cartridge fuses, they are highly sensitive to changes in current flow and don't tolerate temporary overload currents or power surges.
