Wire Terminals & Disconnects
Wire terminals and disconnects attach to the end of wires to transfer electrical and ground connections between conductors and circuit points. Ring terminals have round, flat terminals with circular cutouts that secure around bolts, studs, and posts. Fork terminals have prong-shaped terminals that slip around connection posts without having to fully remove them. Ferrules have barrel-shaped bodies that encase wires to contain loose strands and enable them to plug into terminal blocks and other mechanical receptacles. Quick disconnects slide together to connect two wires and pull apart to protect them. Bullet disconnects snap together and are ideal for repeat use applications. Ballast-to-luminaire disconnects supply power between ballasts and luminaires.
