Sealants, Fiber Fillers & Antioxidant Compounds for Conduit & Fittings
Available11 products
These sealants, fiber fillers, and antioxidant compounds seal conduit and fitting connections, insulate conductors inside conduit, or remove oxidation from fittings.
Sealants for Conduit & Fittings
These sealants form a seal around conductors and inside conduit fittings to restrict the passage of gases, vapor, or flames through the fitting. They protect wire and cable and are used in conjunction with fiber fillers on hazardous location fittings in environments like petroleum refineries, gasoline storage areas, and petrochemical facilities. These sealants are in powder form and mix with water so they can be poured into the fitting. They expand slightly when hardening and bond to inner walls of the fittings.

Fiber Fillers for Conduit & Fittings
Fiber fillers are used with sealants to insulate conductors and hazardous location conduit fittings, protecting wire and cable by restricting the passage of gases, vapor, or flames through the fitting. They’re commonly used in hazardous environments like petroleum refineries, gasoline storage areas, and petrochemical facilities. These fillers form a dam between the integral bushing of the fitting and the end of the conduit, and around the electrical conductors entering the hub.

Antioxidant Compounds for Conduit & Fittings
These compounds remove aluminum oxide and prevent further oxidation to improve the efficiency and service life of aluminum conduit fittings. They provide additional inner-strand and inner-conductor current paths for improved conductivity and cooler connections. These compounds also reduce galling and seizing when applied on aluminum conduit joints, promoting ground continuity. They’re squeezed or brushed onto fittings and conductors before assembly.
