Spiral bands clean, smooth, blend, and polish contours. They're chatter-free and install on an expanding drum mandrel for use in a die grinder or other rotary tool. Spiral bands have a coated abrasive applied to a backing. Bands can be quickly changed out as needed to change grits or replace worn bands. Bands can be reused after they've been removed from the mandrel. The flexible, tear-resistant cloth backing conforms to contours and is more durable and tear resistant than paper.

Cool-Cutting Spiral Bands for Stainless Steel & Nickel Alloys
Cool-cutting spiral bands for stainless steel and nickel alloys have a ceramic abrasive. Ceramic self-sharpens faster than other abrasives to remove material quicker. Quicker material removal speeds up the work and keeps the surface cooler, making ceramic a good choice for heat-sensitive metals. Other workpiece materials include cobalt, Inconel, titanium, and chrome.
