Cross buffs smooth light imperfections inside pipes, tubes and other recessed surfaces. Nonwoven abrasive material attached to a mandrel conforms to the inside of pipes and tubes to smooth and finish surfaces. Nonwoven abrasives flex to fit the the area without removing material or changing the shape of the workpiece. They require a mandrel to install them in a die grinder or other rotary tool.
Surface-Conditioning Cross Buffs for All Metals
Surface-conditioning cross buffs optimized for use on all metals are made of coated nonwoven nylon abrasive for removing surface imperfections and light deburring inside pipes and tubes. Surface-conditioning abrasives made of nonwoven nylon conform to irregular surfaces and remove surface imperfections, mill scale, and surface rust to create a smooth surface ready for finishing.
