Abrasive stars smooth and finish the inside of pipes, tubes, and other cylindrical shapes. They're made of nonwoven abrasive so they're less aggressive of bore polishers. They require a mandrel for use on a die grinder or other rotary tool.

Surface-conditioning stars optimized for use on all metals are made of coated nonwoven nylon abrasive for removing surface imperfections and light deburring inside pipes and tubes. Surface-conditioning abrasives made of nonwoven nylon conform to irregular surfaces and remove surface imperfections, mill scale, and surface rust to create a smooth surface ready for finishing.
