Sandpaper Sheets

Available41 products
Sandpaper sheets shape, smooth, and finish metal and wood surfaces. An abrasive applied to backing material cuts small amounts of material from the workpiece to smooth the surface, remove sharp edges, and debur metal. Sheets are often torn down to fit handheld power sanders or to wrap around sanding blocks.

Flexible Sanding Sheets for All Materials

Flexible Sanding Sheets for All Materials
Flexible sanding sheets optimized for use on all materials have a closed-coat aluminum oxide abrasive applied to a cloth backing. The flexible, tear-resistant cloth backing conforms to contours and is more durable and tear resistant than paper. Aluminum oxide is a strong, sharp, and durable abrasive that penetrates the work surface and withstands heat and high speeds. Closed-coat abrasives have abrasive grain across the entire surface to provide a smoother finish and faster material removal than open-coat coverage. Example materials include metal, composites, wood, ceramic, plastic, and porcelain.

Polishing Sheets for All Metals

Polishing Sheets for All Metals
Polishing sheets for use on all metals have an open-coat emery abrasive applied to a cloth backing. Emery is applied to a cloth backing to polish, smooth, and clean metal. Emery is not used on wood. Open-coat abrasives have grit on about 50% of the surface leaving space between the abrasive grains to prevent swarf from clogging the surface which keeps the workpiece cooler. The flexible, tear-resistant cloth backing conforms to contours and is more durable and tear resistant than paper. Example metals include mild and carbon steel, cast iron, cobalt, titanium, and chrome.
