Quick-Change Flap Discs
Quick-change flap discs attach to angle grinders to smooth welds, clean surfaces, deburr, blend, and finish metal. Quick-change connections speed disc changing to increase productivity. Overlapping abrasive flaps are attach to a backing plate to provide a stable base. As the abrasive and backing material wear away, new abrasive is exposed to prolong the usable lifespan. Flap discs are more flexible than grinding discs, so they're less aggressive and produce a smoother finish.
High-Performance Flap Discs for Carbon & Stainless Steel
High-performance flap discs for carbon and stainless steel have a zirconia alumina abrasive. Zirconia alumina grains break down frequently to create fresh, sharp edges to cut and finish faster than aluminum oxide. It cuts cooler than aluminum oxide and is often used for high stock removal or under high pressure.
