Pointed-End Tree Burs (SG)
Available71 products
Pointed-end tree burs (SG) debur and finish molds, fillet welds, curved holes, slots, and openings with pointed bottoms. The tapered cutting head has slightly flared sides and comes to a point for use on forgings and the inside top wall on dies. Cutting edges are made from carbide, which is a hard material that resists wear and limits heat. Carbide burs attach to rotary power tools such as die grinders, high-speed engravers, and pendant drills.
Double-Cut Pointed-End Tree Burs
Double-cut pointed-end tree burs (SG) have crossing left- and right-hand flutes to quickly remove stock from steel, stainless steel, and other high-strength ferrous metals while leaving a smoother finish than single-cut burs.

Single-Cut Pointed-End Tree Burs
Single-cut pointed-end tree burs (SG) have parallel rows of right-hand spiral flutes to balance stock removal and finish. Single-cut burs are used in general applications to evacuate chips on most materials, including brass, copper, cast iron, and steel.
