Inverted Cone Burs (SN)
Available25 products
Inverted cone burs (SN) finish and debur dovetails, inside edges, and inverted slots and holes. The cone-shaped cutting edge is wider at the tip to make V-shaped cuts and rear-side chamfers. Cone-shaped burs have straight tapered sides for smoothing beveled and chamfered surfaces, while the short cutting area maneuvers into counterbored holes. Cutting edges are made from carbide, which is a hard material that resists wear and limits heat. Carbide burs attach to rotary power tools such as die grinders, high-speed engravers, and pendant drills.
Double-Cut Inverted Cone Burs
Double-cut inverted cone burs (SN) have crossing left- and right-hand flutes to quickly remove stock from steel, stainless steel, and other high-strength ferrous metals while leaving a smoother finish than single-cut burs.

Single-Cut Inverted Cone Burs
Single-cut inverted cone burs (SN) have parallel rows of right-hand spiral flutes to balance stock removal and finish. Single-cut burs are used in general applications to evacuate chips on most materials, including brass, copper, cast iron, and steel.
