Primary Material Application

General Purpose Grinding Cones & Plugs for Steel & Ductile Iron

General Purpose Grinding Cones & Plugs for Steel & Ductile Iron
General purpose grinding cones and plugs optimized for use on steel and ductile iron are made of grade 57A aluminum oxide abrasive. Grade 57A is a semifriable, fused brown aluminum oxide for cool, burn-free grinding of heat-sensitive metals and all steels. It balances cut quality and wheel life span at light to medium feed rates.

Type 16 Cone

High-Performance Grinding Cones & Plugs for Stainless Steel & Nickel Alloys

High-Performance Grinding Cones & Plugs for Stainless Steel & Nickel Alloys
High-performance grinding cones and plugs remove material quickly for heavy-duty offhand grinding and snagging applications on stainless steel and nickel alloys. The combination of the zirconia alumina abrasive and resin bond optimizes grinding on tool steel, 300- and 400-series stainless steel, hard and soft carbon steel, super alloys, and titanium. Zirconia alumina is more durable than aluminum oxide and self-sharpens to maintain a sharp cutting edge.
